2 great series of books, one focusing on science and the other on maths; that I would strongly recommend to any mommies. Both series comes with different levels aim at kids at different ages. I finished MathStart Level 1 Series with 3+ gal S, who enjoyed the stories while learning about Maths. Through the stories, she learnt about sets, doubling, simple subtracting, mutiplication by factor of 10, etc. Among her favourites are 'A House for Birdie' which teaches capacity through the search for a house of the right size for Birdies, with all her feathered friends, and 'Seaweed Soup' which teaches the concept of sets, through Turtle setting different sets of bowl, cup, spoon and napkins for his friends.










For the Let's Read and Find Out About Science, my gal does them selectively regardless of the levels, based on what she's interested in, like penguins, dinosuars, etc. The reading session can be extremely fun, as we got to do the penguins' walk, the tobogganing i.e. the belly sliding, and learn about how papa penguin keep baby penguin warms while mama goes out to hunt for food.
